Packaging a new generation

ABOUT THIS PROJECT
Zenii is a South African wellness brand building a product ecosystem at the intersection of science and everyday performance. Our scope covered the full packaging system across two distinct product lines: the H2 Water hydrogen-infused beverage range and HydroShot, an advanced electrolyte and hydrogen formula. Together the ranges span multiple formats, flavours, and consumer moments, from daily hydration to active performance recovery.




DESIGN INSIGHT
Both ranges are built on the same design principle: scientific credibility expressed through restraint. The H2 Water cans use an oversized typographic lock-up on a clean white base, with flavour differentiation handled through colour-coded lids and a simple droplet icon. HydroShot's stand-up pouches and stick packs follow the same logic, using subtle flavour-coded gradient washes rather than the over-saturated colour blocking typical of the sports nutrition category. The result is a shelf presence that reads as premium wellness rather than performance supplement.
Rocket Fuel required a different register entirely. The pitch-black can, diagonal lightning bolt graphic, and aggressive condensed type communicate raw energy, while the hydrogen-infused credential is woven into the label hierarchy without cluttering the composition.


OUTCOME
The completed system gave Zenii packaging capable of stretching across everyday hydration, performance energy, and limited-edition cultural moments. Each sub-brand reads distinctly on shelf while a consistent structural logic holds the family together, positioning Zenii as a science-led wellness brand with the visual range to grow.
